Product Description
Detailed Specifications & Features
Product Overview

Multilayer zirconia inlays & onlays, conservative posterior restorations milled digitally via CAD/CAM. They are designed for posterior tooth decay, cusp fracture and moderate tooth defects. As an alternative to full crowns and composite fillings, they preserve healthy tooth structure while restoring occlusal anatomy and proximal contact. Custom-made by Golden Smile Dental Lab.

Core Material Advantages
  • Natural gradient optics: Seamless transition from the dentin layer to the enamel layer simulates the light transmission of real teeth, with no heavy staining or porcelain layering required.
  • Outstanding flexural strength: Superior to lithium disilicate, with less risk of chipping or fracture for long-term service.
  • Low shrinkage and stable sintering: High marginal fit and precise adaptation to tooth preparation.
  • Biocompatible: Metal-free, with no gingival discoloration and low plaque accumulation.
  • Monolithic one-piece design: Simplified lab workflow that saves layering and glazing time.
Product Classification
1. Inlay

Indicated for defects confined to the occlusal and proximal surfaces without cusp involvement. Retained within the cavity, inlays preserve maximum tooth structure. Suitable for medium and small posterior carious cavities and for the replacement of old resin restorations, delivering reliable sealing and occlusal esthetics.

2. Onlay

Covers cusps and occlusal surfaces to protect weakened remaining cusps and distribute occlusal force. Ideal for larger defects with damaged cusps. Onlays avoid the heavy tooth reduction required for full crowns and effectively prevent tooth fracture while conserving tooth tissue.

Key Clinical Features & Benefits
  • Minimally invasive: Can be fabricated as ultra-thin veneers, preserving more natural tooth structure.
  • Natural light behaviour: Avoids the flat, artificial single-shade look; ideal for anterior 6/8/10-unit smile design.
  • Gingiva-friendly: Metal-free, eliminating the grey gingival line issue common with metal-ceramic restorations.
  • Wear resistance: Matches the enamel wear rate, protecting antagonist teeth from excessive abrasion.
  • Predictable shade outcome: Built-in colour gradient reduces shade deviation, improves patient satisfaction, and lowers the remake rate.
Application Indications
Indications Anterior smile rehabilitation, diastema closure, shape modification, mild tooth discoloration, minor malalignment correction.
Contraindications Severe bruxism without an occlusal splint, heavy occlusal load, deep undercut, insufficient bonding surface.
Recommended Preparation Minimal feather/knife-edge margin preferred; follow the bonding protocol for zirconia.
Fabrication Digital CAD/CAM milling, sintered monolithic, customized glazing and characterization upon request.
Reminder Send Rx, shade guide, intraoral scans, and face photos for accurate customization.
