Our Cobalt-Chromium Cast Post with Multilayer Zirconia Crown is a strong, reliable post-and-core restoration solution for badly damaged endodontically treated teeth. The custom cast CoCr post provides superior retention and structural support inside the root canal, while the multilayer zirconia crown delivers lifelike translucency, natural shade gradient, and excellent biocompatibility. This combination is widely selected for posterior teeth restoration that demands both high fracture resistance and good aesthetic effect.
- High mechanical strength: The cobalt-chromium alloy cast post features outstanding rigidity, great fatigue resistance, and stable support, making it suitable for heavy occlusal force in molar and premolar areas.
- Natural aesthetic outcome: The multilayer zirconia crown comes with gradient color and light transmission from incisal to cervical, simulating natural tooth texture far better than monolithic zirconia.
- Excellent biocompatibility: CoCr alloy is low-corrosion and non-magnetic; zirconia is tissue-friendly and causes no discoloration of the gingiva.
- Precise custom fit: Fabricated based on intraoral scan data or traditional impressions, the post fits closely inside the root canal, and the crown achieves marginal integrity.
- Stable long-term performance: Resists occlusal wear and deformation, reducing the risk of crown loosening or secondary fracture of residual tooth structure.

A: It is more recommended for posterior teeth with heavy bite force. For anterior teeth with high aesthetic requirements, we may suggest a fiber post plus all-ceramic crown as an alternative.
A: Minor occlusal adjustment is acceptable. Major modification to the post is not suggested after cementation.
A: Compared with nickel-chromium alloy, CoCr has a much lower risk of gingival discoloration. However, for ultra-high aesthetic demand in the anterior zone, a full zirconia post system is a better option.
